Complete claims management on behalf of the principals, from receipt of the notice of claim to the closure of the case. That includes:
- Liaise with surveyors, lawyers, consignee’s and etc. on all claim related matters
- Attend the court for the case hearings
- Protect the company’s interests in court and at the mediations
- Ensure complete and sound claim settlement, legal reviews and investigations when necessary
- Ensure in-depth investigation of actual claims through direct or indirect contact with claimants, surveyors and other parties involved
- Ensure all applicable claims are reported accurately and timely to reinsurance
- Lodge the counterclaims and recovery claims against responsible parties
