We offer services for development and implementation of Safety Management Systems to comply with the requirements of the ISM Code, which is named obligatory by Chapter IX of SOLAS Convention and applies to:
- passenger ships including passenger high speed craft;
- oil tankers, chemical tankers, gas carriers, bulk carriers and cargo high speed craft of 500 gross tonnage and over;
- other cargo ships and mobile offshore drilling units of 500 gross tonnage and over.
Our services include:
- development of safety management system to comply with ISM Code – outlining the way the company will approach SMS certification;
- development of the operational manual for the system as well as procedures and check-lists to be used on board and at the company;
- document control – establishing a process that allows all required manuals, ship’s information, forms etc to be kept up-to-date and relevant;
- internal audit;
- consultations on any issues arising in connection with ISM.
